Dan has been in the financial services industry his entire career. He has worked for such notable companies as the Royal Bank of Canada, the Bank of Montreal and Avco Financial Services, and has been appraising residential properties in the Ottawa area since 2001.
Dan became an Appraisal Institute of Canada (AIC) Designated Appraiser in 2008.

Currently the chair of the Ottawa Chapter of the Appraisal Institute of Canada, Joyce carries the Canadian Residential Appraiser (CRA) and Condo Reserve Planner (CRP) designations. She previously held the following designations: Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI) and Fellow of the Institute of Canadian Bankers (FICB).
Since receiving their designations, Dan and Joyce have conducted residential appraisals for banks, trust companies, credit unions, private organizations, insurance companies, legal firms, government agencies and relocation firms for a variety of purposes. These include: insurance settlements, litigation, divorce, financing, taxation, relocations, power of sale, estate settlements and government seizures.
Together, they perform up to 700 Ottawa-area appraisals annually on all types of properties, including:
